Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Leicester City defender, Wesley Fofana is set to undergo medical with Chelsea ahead of a summer move.<\/p>\n

The Athletic reports that Fofana\u2019s medical will take place in the US.<\/p>\n

It is understood that Chelsea\u2019s owners took the decision to fly the player abroad for the checks \u201cfor peace of mind\u201d.<\/p>\n

The transfer is expected to be wrapped up by midweek before the window closes.<\/p>\n

The Blues saw a few offers turned down, before both clubs agreed a fee believed to be over \u00a370million with add-ons.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a season-long loan deal with Chelsea for forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.<\/p>\n

Hudson-Odoi will fly to Germany on Monday for a medical.<\/p>\n

The move was in danger of collapse 24 hours ago as Leverkusen wanted an option inserted in the deal.<\/p>\n

Talks went into the night with Hudson-Odoi\u2019s representative \u2013 brother Bradley \u2013 able to convince Leverkusen to take the deal on the terms Chelsea wanted.<\/p>\n
