Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Northern Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has observed that Mr. Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, as a Nigerian, deserves contracts from the Federal Government to ensure the protection of pipelines.<\/p>\n

The group noted that it would continue to support all government efforts aimed at improving security and enhancing the welfare of the citizens.<\/p>\n

Comrade Isah Abubakar, President of the group in a statement issued, Tuesday in Kaduna, said, \u201cTompolo as a Nigerian, with private Company rendering security services deserves any favour he gets from the government to ensure the protection of pipelines.\u201d<\/p>\n

The group expressed dismay over a publication by a certain group, calling on the Federal Government to revoke the pipeline Surveillance Contract Awarded to Tompolo and others or risk massive protest.<\/p>\n

The group, therefore, called on the security agencies to mount surveillance on the mischief makers trying to use its name and reputation to cause confusion in the country and ensure that they did not succeed in such misadventure.<\/p>\n
