Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has said he is a few months older than the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Bishop Matthew Kukah.<\/p>\n

Tinubu spoke during the 70th birthday celebration of Bishop Kukah yesterday.<\/p>\n

He commended Kukah for the good works, stressing that he understood what the clergyman was building.<\/p>\n

Tinubu said they both have a bigger responsibility in building Nigeria.<\/p>\n

According to Tinubu: \u201cYou are building an institution in the honour of your 70, I am 70 too I could still contribute. I am just months older than you are.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut Bishop, you will help build Nigeria. The greatness of a nation is on your shoulder. It\u2019s on my shoulder, too, and we must build it together.<\/p>\n

\u201cI must, and I will contribute handsomely and personally to build and see to the completion of that institution.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the years, there has been controversy over Tinubu\u2019s age.<\/p>\n

While some Nigerians believe that Tinubu is above 80 years, the APC presidential candidate insists that he is 70 years old.<\/p>\n
