Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Kwara State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Muhammad Saifuddeen has warned contractors handling government projects that actions contravening the conditions and terms of the projects will not be condoned.<\/p>\n

He said Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq was more interested in quality job execution and timely delivery of the projects because of his special interest.<\/p>\n

The Commissioner, charged contractors handling some of the ongoing projects across the state to ensure quality job execution and timely delivery of same in the interest of the people of the state.<\/p>\n

He stated this when he paid a working visit to some of the ongoing state government\u2019s mega projects in the Ilorin metropolis.<\/p>\n

Addressing the contractors at their respective project sites, Saifuddeen warned that \u201cpeople of Kwara State are closely watching and observing the projects as they progress, and are aware of the expected time for delivery as promised by the State Government.<\/p>\n

\u201cTherefore, I want to assume that the good people of the state have expectations as regards the quality of the projects to be delivered on completion and so we won\u2019t accept anything short of expectations,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Saifuddeen urged the contractors to furnish his office as soon as possible with details of the Program of Work for their respective projects to enable his ministry make proper assessments, adding that his office was open to all, in case of any challenges or complaints hindering the progress of the projects.<\/p>\n
