Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has explained why the Peoples Democratic Party must respect him and other governors in his camp.<\/p>\n

Wike claimed the governors are the ones campaigning for the party with the projects they have executed in their various states and so deserve to be respected.<\/p>\n

He made the assertion during the commissioning of the Emohua campus of the Rivers state university on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

He said those governors referred to as \u201cChildren\u201d in the party that are carrying out projects, could be used to campaign in their states.<\/p>\n

According to Wike \u201cthe only states you can see commissioning or flag off of projects are those states according to them that the children are in charge.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf a PDP state is not doing well, don\u2019t think you will be voted for because APC is not doing well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s why the party should respect us and know that we are the ones campaigning for the party because we have what we can use to campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not to abuse people on the pages of a newspaper or go on television and bring people who have some mental problems to defend something they cannot defend\u201d.<\/p>\n
