Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Super Eagles winger, Emmanuel Amuneke has been appointed new head coach of Zambia Super League side, Zanaco FC.<\/p>\n

According to Lusaka Times, Amuneke, who once served as Super Eagles assistant coach, is expected in the South African country in the coming days to pen his contract.<\/p>\n

Details of his contract remain sketchy at the moment.<\/p>\n

Amuneke is well respected in Nigeria having guided the Nigeria U-17 Golden Eaglets to win the 2015 FIFA World Cup in Chile.<\/p>\n

The 51-year-old also qualified Tanzania for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after 39 years.<\/p>\n

He was a member of the Super Eagles side that won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia.<\/p>\n

Zanaco last won the Zambian league title in 2016.<\/p>\n
