Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The leadership crisis rocking the Taraba State Football Association (FA), has taken a fresh twist.<\/p>\n

This is as the Federal High Court sitting in Jalingo, the State capital, has sacked the incumbent chairman, Timothy Heman.<\/p>\n

The presiding judge, Justice Simone Amobeda ordered that the plaintiff, Sanusi Mahmoud be immediately sworn in as the chairman of the association in the State.<\/p>\n

The crisis, which has been lingering for the past three years, has impacted negatively on the football game in the State.<\/p>\n

The Judge warned the incumbent chairman, to as a matter of urgency, cease from parading himself as the State FA chairman.<\/p>\n

The court further ordered the association at the national level to stop dealing with the incumbent chairman.<\/p>\n

Elated by the outcome of the ruling, the counsel to Mahmoud, Isa Buba, asked the aggrieved party to join hands with Mahmoud to move football forward in Taraba.<\/p>\n
