Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The University of Ilorin, UniIlorin, has dismissed reports that it released a resumption date for returning students of the institution.<\/p>\n

A statement by the institution refuted the report purportedly issued by the management, that October 20th,2022, has been announced as the resumption date for old students.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis statement does not originate from the university management,\u201d the school authorities said.<\/p>\n

It described the statement as fake news, saying \u201cwe are still expecting a categorical statement of strike call-off from ASUU before any decision of official resumption date could be arrived at.\u201d<\/p>\n

The institution also refuted another report on the sale of 2022\/2023 Post-UTME Screening Form to applicants.<\/p>\n

Director of Corporate Affairs of the university, Kunle Akogun, who disowned the speculation in a statement, in Ilorin, explained that Unilorin was yet to take a decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is to inform all admission applicants to the University of Ilorin that the institution is yet to take any decision on the 2022\/2023 Post-UTME screening.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey should, therefore, disregard a message currently flying around online platforms to the effect that the University has started the process for the sale of Post-UTME screening registration forms.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the handiwork of scammers and admission seekers should disregard it,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n
