Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Flamingos head coach, Bankole Olowookere says the team is fully focused on securing a place in the final of the FIFA U-17 Women\u2019s World Cup.<\/p>\n

The West Africans will tackle Colombia in the semi-final on Wednesday (today) at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Goa.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s the first time the Flamingos will be playing in the semi-final at the competition.<\/p>\n

Olowookere\u2019s girls defeated the United States of America 4-3 on penalties to secure a place in the last four.<\/p>\n

The gaffer insisted that they are determined to go further in the competition by securing a place in the final.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are fully ready right from the day we qualified and I believe we will achieve our aim,\u201d Olowookere said ahead of the clash against the South Americans.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd to achieve that, we must beat the Colombians and we are doing everything to make it possible\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

The game will kick-off at 12pm Nigeria time.<\/p>\n
