Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Manchester United left-back, Patrice Evra, has said that midfielder, Casemiro has already established himself as the Red Devils\u2019 \u2018main man\u2019 under their manager Erik ten Hag.<\/p>\n

Evra said Casemiro, who joined Man United from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, is a leader, adding that every player in the team should be leaning on him on and off the pitch.<\/p>\n

Casemiro, who won five Champions League titles at Real Madrid, has quickly become fans\u2019 favourite at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old scored an injury-time equaliser to ensure Man United drew 1-1 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend and Evra has been impressed by the player\u2019s impact at his former club.<\/p>\n

\u201cI keep talking about Casemiro and for me, he\u2019s the main man,\u201d Evra told Betfair. He is the one who is giving the team the right balance and you could see that against Tottenham.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe dominated, and at the time, I was sure it was a trap and they would counterattack, but we dominated from the first to the last minute and a lot of that was down to Casemiro. He\u2019s the one doing the hard work and now scoring goals.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou could see that the goal against Chelsea meant a lot to him. I know some people said that they were celebrating like they won the game, but it\u2019s not about that. The moment was about him enjoying everything.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe forget, this guy has five Champions League winners\u2019 medals. No matter if he needs to adapt to the Premier League, he is born-ready and I am sure he\u2019s going to have a beautiful World Cup too.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a leader. I remember I spoke to Darren Fletcher after his first training session and he told me that he\u2019s already a leader in the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou could see against Southampton that they wanted to play out from the back with David de Gea, and Casemiro told them no, even though he\u2019d only just arrived.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat showed me how much experience he has, and if some players don\u2019t listen to Casemiro, then they don\u2019t understand how to play at a high level.\u201d<\/p>\n
