Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos said residents were in shackles.<\/p>\n

The opposition urged them to vote the All Progressives Congress (APC) out in 2023.<\/p>\n

The PDP made the call during the inauguration of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), Lagos chapter.<\/p>\n

Assistant Legal Adviser, Mustapha Okandeji administered the oath on the 103-member team chaired by Deji Doherty.<\/p>\n

Okandeji urged them to be guided by PDP\u2019s constitution, electoral laws, and mobilise votes for presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.<\/p>\n

Doherty said it was high time the party returned to power at the federal level for the good of Nigeria and the people.<\/p>\n

The ex-Lagos PDP chairman described Atiku and his running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, as experienced, resourceful and healthy candidates.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are way ahead of anyone being paraded by the other parties and will get to work immediately.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe make a clarion call to the people of Lagos that the time has come to free themselves from the shackles.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is time to say \u201cenough is enough\u201d to the APC\u201d, NAN quoted him saying.<\/p>\n
