Messi also wants his Argentine teammates not to make mistakes going forward ahead of their next Group C game with Poland on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

The Paris Saint-Germain forward scored a goal in Argentina\u2019s win over Mexico at the Lusail Stadium.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe cannot give up now. We have all the finals to play, we cannot make mistakes,\u201d Messi said at his post-match press conference.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe knew that the response to the people would be like this, I think we complied, we have been together for a long time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that at times, especially in the second-half [against Mexico], we went back to being what we are. Now, against Poland, we\u2019ll try to continue in this way.\u201d<\/p>\n
