Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali says he will return to action in three weeks.<\/p>\n

Nwakali sustained an injury in his Spanish Segunda Division club, SD Ponferradina\u2019s 1-0 defeat to Malaga last weekend.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old was replaced by Ghana midfielder Sabit Abdulahi at 57 minutes.<\/p>\n

SD Ponferradina later announced that the player will miss action for a few weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cRoad, to be back, see you in 3 weeks,\u201d Nwakali announced on Twitter accompanied by a photo showing that he has already begun his rehabilitation.<\/p>\n

The former Golden Eaglets captain is now expected to miss the games against Burgos, Lugo and Levante.<\/p>\n

He is expected to return for the home clash against Villarreal 11 on January 8, 2023.<\/p>\n
