Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former Chelsea defender, William Gallas has said that it would be very difficult for his former club to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.<\/p>\n

Gallas also warned Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly that he would be blamed if the Blues fails to finish in the top Premier League.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are currently in the eighth position on the Premier League table with 21 points from 14 games.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think getting into the top four will be very difficult for them, even if they went out and signed a forward. It will be very hard for Chelsea to finish in the top four,\u201d Gallas told Genting Casino.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Chelsea don\u2019t finish in the top four, Todd Boehly would have failed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere can be no excuses for a club like Chelsea finishing outside of the top four.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are always very quick to judge players on their performance and it should be the same for the owner.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe arrived and spent a lot of money, but if he doesn\u2019t qualify for the top four, he would have failed.\u201d<\/p>\n
