Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Interim Management Committee (IMC) has invited the 20 clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, to an interactive meeting.<\/p>\n

The meeting, according to the circular signed by IMC\u2019s head of operations, Davidson Owumi, will hold at the Sandralia Hotel, Abuja on Wednesday, December 21.<\/p>\n

The circular noted that the meeting is being convened to perfect earlier interactions with the clubs on the new season\u2019s roadmap.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if the 2022\/23 season will kick off on December 28 as earlier agreed by the two bodies.<\/p>\n

The new campaign will be run in an abridged format and is expected to end in May 2023.<\/p>\n

Rivers United won the title last season fighting off a stiff challenge from Plateau United.<\/p>\n
