Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani has hailed the Nigeria Police for nabbing suspects who attacked the convoy of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.<\/p>\n

Recall that the motorcade of the former vice president was attacked in Borno State during a presidential campaign rally on November 10.<\/p>\n

The Borno State Commissioner of Police, Abdul Umar, on Thursday, said his command arrested and charged nine of the attackers to court.<\/p>\n

Reacting, Shehu Sani commended the police but charged them to put more effort and ensure that the hoodlums who attacked the PDP presidential rally in Kaduna State are also brought to book.<\/p>\n

In a tweet on his official handle, the former governorship aspirant said, \u201cThe Police arrest and arraignment of suspects who attacked the convoy of Atiku Abubakar when he visited Borno State is commendable.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who attacked the rally of the PDP Presidential candidate in Kaduna have still not been brought to book\u201d.<\/p>\n
