Dino Melaye, Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly, on Saturday raised the alarm over the latest move by the State Governor, Yahaya Bello, ahead of the state\u2019s governorship election.<\/p>\n
Melaye said Bello requested a N30bn loan from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.<\/p>\n
In a tweet, the controversial lawmaker alleged that the loan was meant to prosecute the governor\u2019s second term campaign.<\/p>\n
He, however, cautioned the country\u2019s apex bank against granting the loan to the governor, who he described as \u201csquandermania.\u201d<\/p>\n
