<\/p>\nA chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Kano State, Abdulmajid Danbilki Commander, has cautioned politicians from the North against allowing National Leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, dictate the tune of politics in their region.<\/p>\n
Commander said Tinubu should not be allowed to decide Northern politics at the expense of those who \u201cfought tooth and nail\u201d in turning APC to a formidable party.<\/p>\n

In a statement he signed, the APC chieftain urged Northern politicians to detach themselves from acceding to Tinubu\u2019s \u201cdictatorial tendency of making them subservient to him\u201d.<\/p>\n
According to him, APC had greatly suffered under Tinubu\u2019s capricious design.<\/p>\n
The statement reads partly: \u201cTinibu as a politician has forgotten the way and manner the northern part of the country fought some maverick politicians to a stand-still.<\/p>\n
\u201cAffirming that it would be foolhardy for politicians in the north to play second fiddle in the present democratic dispensation, I wondered why northern politicians should allow Tinubu to dictate the tune of northern politics at the expense of those who had fought tooth and nail in making the APC formidable positing that the rot that had permeated the party in the past as a result of leadership crisis could be partly attributed to his dictatorial permutations.\u201d<\/p>\n
He stressed that Northern politicians would no longer be used as \u201ccannon-fodders in promoting the egocentric postulations of certain politicians\u201d since they were at an ample liberty to discern what is politically expedient for themselves.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
