Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The youth wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has declared Bola Tinubu \u201cthe best option for Nigeria\u201d.<\/p>\n

The directorate assured that the country will advance if the presidential candidate wins the February 23 election.<\/p>\n

Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Council youth spokesperson, Aliyu Audu addressed a forum in Lagos on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Audu stressed that Tinubu was ahead of other contestants based on his \u201cantecedents, competence and record of service\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe greatness we seek will only happen because all of us as a collective choose to take part when it matters the most.<\/p>\n

\u201cAsiwaju remains the best option for Nigeria moving forward\u201d, the PCC member stated.<\/p>\n

He said the display of capacity by youths in different sectors globally could be ascribed to the patriotism and tenacity of past heroes.<\/p>\n

To this end, Audu advised youths to \u201cfirst appreciate the contributions of older folks\u201d by working with them to tap from experiences.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson said their approach towards the quest for a greater Nigeria \u201cshould be that of cooperation, and not antagonism\u201d.<\/p>\n

Audu informed the public that the APC government \u201cis very aware of its own shortcomings\u201d, especially the challenges youth still face.<\/p>\n

The PCC member listed stable and affordable education, unemployment, police brutality and harassment as some of the issues.<\/p>\n

Tinubu has guaranteed to reform the security system \u201cto operate strictly within the ambit of the law\u201d, he added.<\/p>\n

Audu appealed to citizens to \u201cbury inherited pains or animosity, either on behalf of our religion, region, or ethnic lineage\u201d.<\/p>\n
