Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Flying Eagles were at their imperious best once again as they thrashed local side Deluxe Football Club 6-0 in a friendly in Abuja on Friday morning.<\/p>\n

No goal was recorded in the first half despite both sides creating scoring opportunities.<\/p>\n

Captain Ibrahim Yahaya opened the scoring for the Flying Eagles two minutes after the break.<\/p>\n

Forward Haliru Seriki doubled the advantage in the 50th minute.<\/p>\n

Remo Stars midfielder Adams Olamilekan added the third three minutes before the hour mark.<\/p>\n

Seriki scored the fourth, with Emmanuel Ochegbu adding two more goals.<\/p>\n

The Flying Eagles will now shift attention to their upcoming friendlies against Zambia.<\/p>\n

The friendlies will be staged at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on February 3 and 6.<\/p>\n
