2. A Federal High Court in Abuja has restrained the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) from taking further action on the Imo north senatorial election.<\/p>\n
In a ruling on Wednesday, Taiwo Taiwo, the judge, ordered INEC to stay any further action pending the determination of the application \u201cfor prohibition.\u201d<\/p>\n
3. The Federal Government has approved the sum of N1.3 billiin for death benefits of 497 deceased workers in the federal civil service.<\/p>\n

8. Enugu State Police Command has shot dead a wanted armed robbery kingpin, known as KC, during a gun duel between the police and his gang members in the state.<\/p>\n
The command\u2019s Public Relations Officer, SP Ebere Amaraizu, who made the disclosure in a statement in Enugu on Wednesday, said police operatives recovered one locally-made pistol and three live cartridges from the deceased.<\/p>\n
9. One person has been reported dead with four others injured in a fresh clash between Abuja natives and soldiers over land at Tungan-Maje an outskirt town of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).<\/p>\n

10. The Federal Executive Council (FEC) on Wednesday approved a memo for the award of contract for supply of water and field for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board at the sum of N368 million including five per cent VAT.<\/p>\n
