Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Premier League club, Southampton, on Sunday, sacked their manager, Nathan Jones.<\/p>\n

Southampton also sacked First Team Coaches, Chris Cohen and Alan Sheeha.<\/p>\n

The English club, however, announced that First Team Lead Coach Rube\u0301n Selle\u0301s would lead Southampton for their next Premier League tie against Chelsea.<\/p>\n

Southampton disclosed this in a statement via its website.<\/p>\n

Jones\u2019 sack comes less than 24 hours after their 2-1 defeat to Wolves on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The statement read, \u201cSouthampton Football Club can confirm it has parted company with Men\u2019s First Team Manager Nathan Jones.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst Team Coaches Chris Cohen and Alan Sheehan have also left the club.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst Team Lead Coach Rube\u0301n Selle\u0301s will take charge of training and prepare the team ahead of next weekend\u2019s game against Chelsea.\u201d<\/p>\n
