Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his heartfelt condolences to Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State over the passing of his father, Abraham, at 88.<\/p>\n

In a condolence message by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, on Monday in Abuja, the president commiserated with the entire Diri family.<\/p>\n

He also condoled with the government and people of Bayelsa on the loss of \u201da moral instructor whose humility made a positive impact in the lives of all that passed through his tutelage, including the governor.\u201d<\/p>\n

President Buhari noted that the Sampou Community would particularly miss the late Abraham Diri for his exemplary contributions to its educational development, transcending all ages.<\/p>\n

According to the president, his prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.<\/p>\n

He prayed that God would grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.<\/p>\n
