{"id":82731,"date":"2023-02-17T11:24:39","date_gmt":"2023-02-17T10:24:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/elecetion-tinubu-endorses-folarin-as-oyo-apc-guber-candidate"},"modified":"2023-02-17T11:24:39","modified_gmt":"2023-02-17T10:24:39","slug":"elecetion-tinubu-endorses-folarin-as-oyo-apc-guber-candidate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/elecetion-tinubu-endorses-folarin-as-oyo-apc-guber-candidate","title":{"rendered":"Elecetion: Tinubu endorses Folarin as Oyo APC guber candidate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has presented Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin to the people of Oyo State as the gubernatorial candidate of the APC.<\/p>\n<p>Tinubu presented Folarin to the electorate on Thursday in Ibadan at an APC rally.<\/p>\n<p>There had been speculations that Tinubu was not comfortable with the candidature of Folarin, however, many of those who taught that the presidential candidate did not like Folarin were disappointed when he raised the former\u2019s hands as the candidate of APC in the 11th March gubernatorial election in the state.<\/p>\n<p>After raising Folarin\u2019s hand facing all sections of the crowd at the rally, Tinubu presented him with a flag of the party.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the APC stalwarts present at the event were the Speaker, House of Representatives, Hon.
