Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the claim by the ruling All Progressives Congress that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, is not a Nigerian.<\/p>\n
The APC had yesterday filed a motion at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja.<\/p>\n
The Party, in the petition filed by its lead counsel, Lateef Fagbemi faulted the candidacy of Atiku in the election, claiming that Atiku is a Cameroonian and not a Nigerian citizen.<\/p>\n
APC, hence stated that the former Vice President petition against President Muhammadu Buhari, its own candidate, should be dismissed for lacking in merit.<\/p>\n
Reacting , Fani-Kayode on his Twitter page queried why a \u2018non-Nigerian\u2019 will accuse Atiku of being a foreigner.<\/p>\n
According to him, this new claim by APC has proved a point that Nigeria is a Zoo.<\/p>\n
The former minister wrote: \u201cWhen a non-Nigerian accuses a bona fide Nigerian of being a foreigner you begin to appreciate why those that have insisted on calling Nigeria a zoo may have a point.<\/p>\n
