Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential Campaign Council, APC PCC, Festus Keyamo, has highlighted how the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, destroyed itself.<\/p>\n

Keyamo said the inordinate ambition of the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar helped destroy the opposition party.<\/p>\n

He noted that PDP\u2019s failure to throw open its 2023 presidential ticket to all sections of the country \u201cdestroyed\u201d the party.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, Atiku emerged as the PDP presidential candidate defeating Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State in the presidential primary election.<\/p>\n

However, Keyamo tweeted: \u201cIt is now safe to say that the failure of PDP to respect the country\u2019s zoning formula plus Atiku\u2019s inordinate ambition, destroyed PDP. Simple.\u201d<\/p>\n

Atiku lost to the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in last Saturday\u2019s presidential election.<\/p>\n
