Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has claimed that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would still have lost even with the backing of the G5 Governors.<\/p>\n

Sani also said that those governors were helpless themselves, insisting they could not have made any difference.<\/p>\n

His statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle on Monday.<\/p>\n

Recall that the G5 Governors refused to openly support Atiku in the just concluded February 25 presidential election.<\/p>\n

The governors in the group were Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Samuel Ortom (Benue), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu ) and Seyi Makinde (Oyo).<\/p>\n

Sani said the G5 Governors failed to realize the masses have gone beyond taking commanding instruction from Governors.<\/p>\n
