Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Niger State Commissioner of Police, Ogundele Ayodeji has decorated two Deputy Commissioners of Police and seven other officers with their new ranks with a charge to be more dedicated as the new status connotes added responsibility.<\/p>\n

Decorating the senior officers in Minna, CP Ogundele Ayodeji said the move was based on the recent promotion released by the Police Service Commission as recommended by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba.<\/p>\n

The two senior officers elevated to Deputy Commissioners include DCP Ali Hayatu Kaigama, Operations and DCP Ebenezer Danmamman, Administration.<\/p>\n

According to him, \u201cthey are decorated with the new ranks and will be deployed to a higher responsibility\u201d.<\/p>\n

The other officers decorated include DCP Mohammed A. Mohammed \u2013 Area Commander N\/Bussa , ACP Mohammed I. Kaoje ,DPO \u2018B\u2019 Div K\u2019gora, ACP Michael T. Katambi \u2013 DPO \u2018A\u2019 Div Suleja, CSP Williams Attah \u2013 2i\/c Acpol Metro, CSP Ofonimeh Udoh \u2013 2i\/c Acpol Bosso and CSP Mustapha Murtala \u2013 DPO GRA Div.<\/p>\n

Also, among the officers promoted include CSP Murtala Isah Raji, CSO Government House Minna, who had earlier been decorated yesterday by the Executive Governor of Niger State Alh. Dr. Abubakar Sani Bello and the CP Ayodeji<\/p>\n

The CP then appreciated the IGP for affirming that the officers promoted had performed very well through his recommendations which has earned officers the promotion.<\/p>\n

Responding, the DCP Mohammed A. Mohammed on behalf of the promotees thanked the IGP and promised not to let the Force down in their duties.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cWe will continue to tap from the mentoring and leadership style of the Commissioner of Police\u201d.<\/p>\n
