Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>David Hundeyin, a popular Nigerian investigative journalist, has been restricted on Twitter for posting the personal information of President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Hundeyin\u2019s account was locked days after alleging that Tinubu had dual citizenship in Nigeria and Guinea.<\/p>\n

Hundeyin, a known supporter of Peter Obi, claimed that the country\u2019s president-elect may have committed perjury.<\/p>\n

Confirming the suspension of his Twitter account, Hundeyin wrote on his Blog that his account has been reported for \u201cposting private information\u201d and is temporarily locked.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou may not publish or post other people\u2019s private information without their express authorization and permission. We also prohibit threatening to expose private information or incentivizing others to do so\u201d, Twitter\u2019s Private information and media policy stated.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Nigeria\u2019s Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, defending Tinubu, said Nigeria\u2019s constitution allows you to have dual citizenship, dismissing Hundeyin\u2019s claim.<\/p>\n

During a Channels Television interview on Sunday, Fashola said, \u201cThe last time I checked, I think the Nigerian constitution allows you to have dual citizenship, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat does his citizenship have to do with the results of the election?\u201d He asked.<\/p>\n
