Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has promised to ensure a peaceful and seamless transition to the incoming government of the New Nigeria People\u2019s Party, NNPP.<\/p>\n

State Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, disclosed this in a statement issued to DAILY POST on Saturday.<\/p>\n

He said the main transition committee and various sub-committees are working closely for a smooth handover.<\/p>\n

Garba dismissed claims by the NNPP that the outgoing administration is undermining the transition program.<\/p>\n

He explained that the outgoing government\u2019s transition committee is gathering all relevant data and information, while the incoming government\u2019s committee will receive the report at the appropriate time.<\/p>\n

Garba stated that the committee aimed to prepare a handover from one government to another and not to promote any form of ideology.<\/p>\n

He urged the incoming government to work for a smooth transition process and avoid anything that could sabotage the process.<\/p>\n

The New Nigeria People\u2019s Party NNPP has accused Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of sabotaging the smooth transition process.<\/p>\n
