{"id":87483,"date":"2023-05-05T07:57:01","date_gmt":"2023-05-05T06:57:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/frsc-not-revenue-generating-agency-bisi-kazeem"},"modified":"2023-05-05T10:34:11","modified_gmt":"2023-05-05T09:34:11","slug":"frsc-not-revenue-generating-agency-bisi-kazeem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/policy\/frsc-not-revenue-generating-agency-bisi-kazeem","title":{"rendered":"FRSC not revenue generating agency \u2013 Bisi Kazeem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said the agency remained a safety corps and not a revenue generating agency.<\/p>\n<p>Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO) Bisi Kazeem said this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>NAN reports that there have been reports about FRSC paying more attention to revenue generation than the safety of motorists and road users.<\/p>\n<p>Kazeem said that the mandate of FRSC was to make the nation\u2019s highway safe for motorists and other road users across the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are an agency of the government and the primary purpose of existence of any government all over the world and from time immemorial is the security of lives and properties.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd that is exactly what we are helping the government to achieve.
