Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Rivers State governorship candidate of Accord in the just concluded election, Dumo Lulu-Briggs has refuted reports that he has withdrawn his petition from the Election Petition Tribunal.<\/p>\n

Lulu-Briggs, in a statement by his Media Assistant, Nia\u2019bari Fakae affirmed that he is still committed to pursuing their case before the Election Tribunal.<\/p>\n

The Accord governorship candidate said the rumour about the withdrawal of his petition was originated by detractors and their agents.<\/p>\n

He said the Accord is, \u201cSteadfast in its commitment to upholding the principles of justice, fairness, and transparency in the electoral process.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement urged the public, media organizations, and all concerned parties to refrain from spreading unfounded rumors and to await verified updates from official sources.<\/p>\n
