Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Plateau United have forfeited three points and three goals following the assault on match referee during their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 17 encounter against Remo Stars last week.<\/p>\n

The Peace Boys were also penalised by the Interim Management Committee for breach of security after the match.<\/p>\n

The club will pay a fine of 2.5 million naira and also see the New Jos Stadium close for the Plateau United fans indefinitely.<\/p>\n

The fine is expected to be paid within seven working days.<\/p>\n

Plateau United is expected to accept the ruling of the IMC or elect to appear before a Disciplinary Panel.<\/p>\n

The incident happened during the Sky Blues 2-1 win against Plateau United at the New Jos Stadium.<\/p>\n
