Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Daniel Bwala, an aide to the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima for taking their oath of office.<\/p>\n

Tinubu and Shettima took the oath of office under the guidance of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, at Eagles Square in Abuja.<\/p>\n

During his swearing-in, Tinubu vowed to be faithful and bear true allegiance to the constitution of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

This comes after he defeated Atiku, the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People\u2019s Party, NNPP.<\/p>\n

Despite his emergence, Atiku and Obi are contesting his victory at the election tribunal.<\/p>\n

They argued that the election that made Tinubu president was flawed and marred with electoral malpractice.<\/p>\n

However, Bwala tweeted: \u201cMay I congratulate Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT and Kashim Shetima @KashimSM for taking the oath of office and allegiance as the 16th President and Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to defend the constitution and administer the Federal Republic of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cI pray that God almighty give you both the wisdom and courage to govern this great nation with honesty, sincerity and integrity. My best wishes, politics aside.\u201d<\/p>\n
