The Eagles have made it to the final twice in the past but failed at the last hurdle.<\/p>\n

Bameyi, however, believes the class of 2023 can bring the coveted trophy to Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah. This is football, everything can happen, any team is beatable. As my coach would say, we just have to be disciplined, dedicated, do our job, concentrate. Let\u2019s see how it goes, but I believe in this team. We can do it,\u201d Bameyi told FIFA.com.<\/p>\n

The Flying Eagles are through to the quarter-finals at the ongoing U-20 World Cup in Argentina.<\/p>\n

Ladan Bosso\u2019s boys will be up against South Korea after recording a stunning 2-0 victory against hosts Argentina in the Round of 16 on Wednesday night.<\/p>\n

The versatile defender is anticipating a difficult test against the Asians.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, there is no small team in the World Cup. Every team in this competition is good. You must respect every team,\u201dBameyi added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThen any team in the knockout stage is obviously very good. I think the Koreans are a very good team. They have beaten other very good teams. I think they have very good players. We have a lot of respect for them.\u201d<\/p>\n
