Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Arsenal and France legend, Thierry Henry, has claimed Nigerian royalty after he was \u201cgifted\u201d a customised diamond neck piece by Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy.<\/p>\n

Burna Boy joined Henry and other football legends on CBS Sports after his historic performance at the UEFA Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan, on Saturday night.<\/p>\n

As a mark of respect for one of his childhood idols, Burna Boy took off his neckpiece and donned it on Henry.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman who was elated by the gesture, declared himself \u201cIgwe!\u201d (a Nigerian -Igbo title for king).<\/p>\n

Burna Boy said the name on the neckpiece was his late best friend, Gambo, adding that making Henry don the neckpiece was the greatest tribute he could have given to his late best friend.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cYou see the person on [the necklace]? It\u2019s my best friend. I lost my best friend.<\/p>\n

\u201cKnowing that you are wearing his name right now, is the most special thing in the world that I could have ever done.<\/p>\n
