Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Senator Abdul\u2019aziz Yari (APC-Zamfara) has condoled with the family of Prof. Abdullahi Shinkafi over the death of a former Secretary to Zamfara State Government (SSG) on Saturday.<\/p>\n

NAN reports that Shinkafi, also a former Commissioner for Religious Affairs during the administration of Yari in the state, died on Saturday in Abuja after a brief illness.<\/p>\n

Yari, while speaking at the APC stakeholders\u2019 meeting in Talata-Mafara town on Sunday, described Shinkafi\u2019s death as a great loss to the state and Nigeria in general.<\/p>\n

\u201cShinkafi contributed immensely to the development of the state and Nigeria in general.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay Almighty Allah grant Aljannatul Firdausi to the deceased, forgive his shortcomings and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe extend our condolences to the immediate family of the deceased and the people of the state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

NAN reports that special prayers were offered for the deceased during the meeting.<\/p>\n
