Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Former President Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s Special Assistant on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad, has expressed pity over the decision of the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi to delete a tweet where he described Bola Tinubu as Mr President.<\/p>\n

Bashir described Obi\u2019s actions as low because he can no longer control himself and his opinion.<\/p>\n

Obi, who is challenging the declaration of Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, as the winner of the last presidential election, had condemned the 120-car convoy of the president when he returned from France, in a tweet.<\/p>\n

He had tweeted: \u201cAllegedly showing Mr President moving with about a 120-car convoy. While I have not had the opportunity of seeing the said video, my advice remains consistent \u2013 that sacrifices for a better Nigeria must start from the leaders at all levels of government.\u201d<\/p>\n

He later deleted the tweet and published a new one that substituted the \u2018120-car convoy of \u2018Mr President\u2019 with \u2018a trending motorcade video\u2019.<\/p>\n

Condemning his action, Bashir wrote: \u201cThat was so low. I honestly pity Peter, the former presidential candidate of the Labour Party; so he no longer has control over himself or an opinion of himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow can you delete a well-composed tweet calling your president Mr. President just because some people claiming to be your supporters bullied and dragged you?\u201d<\/p>\n
