Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has given reasons for the delay in the payment of corps members\u2019 June 2023 monthly allowance.<\/p>\n

The scheme said all arrangements for the payment of the allowance were completed on June 27, and remittances were made the same day to various banks accordingly.<\/p>\n

NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations Eddy Megwa said in a statement that the scheme is assiduously interfacing with the banks to fast-track the payment of the June allowance without further delay.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll corps members are enjoined to remain calm, law-abiding, and dutiful in their respective places of national service, as the Scheme will continue to treat issues relating to their welfare with the utmost priority,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
