Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Simon Ekpa, a popular Biafra agitator and separatist, has said the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, will stop sit-at-home order in the southeast.<\/p>\n

Ekpa, a Finland-based lawyer and Prime Minister of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile, disclosed this on Monday.<\/p>\n

His reaction comes in response to the National President of Ohanaeze Youths, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike\u2019s statement on Kanu\u2019s release and sit-at-home order.<\/p>\n

According to him, the only thing that can stop the civic action of sit-at-home in the southeast region is the release of Nnamdi.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe historic sit-at-home has kicked off today, nothing can stop it, unless Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is released today (Monday)\u201d.<\/p>\n

He stated that Ohaneze failed to achieve significant influence on the 2023 Presidential election, which saw the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as president.<\/p>\n

He added that Ndigbo should not support leaders who cannot speak truth to power.<\/p>\n

\u201cOhaneze bragged that if Igbo didn\u2019t get the presidential ticket from PDP or APC, Nigeria would break up and that voting Tinubu would bring war, but today, the Ohaneze are calling on Ndigbo to support Tinubu, people that act like that have lost the morality to speak for the interests of Ndigbo.<\/p>\n

\u201cLeaders who change their principles according to who they meet are not worthy of being called leaders,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n
