Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Romanus Ejikeme, the father of Mmesoma, candidate accused of faking the Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination, JAMB, result has apologized to Nigerians and the board.<\/p>\n

Mr Ejikeme lamented that his daughter lied to him and Nigerians about her JAMB scores.<\/p>\n

Speaking with NTA, Ejikeme said Mmesoma did not tell him the truth early enough.<\/p>\n

According to Ejikeme, he blamed Mmesoma when he realized the truth.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cMy daughter did not open up to me on time; when I realised her mistake, I blamed her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI told her, Mmesoma, be careful; you know you are a star and will not dent your image.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I am still apologising to JAMB and Nigerians as a father to pardon her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mmesoma had paraded a forged Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, result.<\/p>\n

She claimed to have gotten the highest score of 362.<\/p>\n

However, JAMB dismissed the score, stressing that she got 249.<\/p>\n
