Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A federal lawmaker elected under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Anthony Adepoju has said he resolved to work with President Bola Tinubu to ensure growth and development of the country.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central\/Ibarapa North, Oyo state, at the House of Representatives made the remark while speaking on Kaftan TV on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

According to him, though the president was elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, he needs the support of all Nigerians to succeed.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I am after is the development of Nigeria. And the president we have is who we should work with. At this point, Tinubu is our president and I am ready to work with him,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The lawmaker further stressed that his decision to contest for the seat was to bring development to the people of his constituency.<\/p>\n
