Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The National Vice Chairman (North West) of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Salihu Mohammed Lukman, has resigned from the position.<\/p>\n

Lukman\u2019s resignation was in protest over speculations that former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, should be named APC\u2019s National Chairman.<\/p>\n

In a letter dated July 26, Lukman said the current atmosphere within APC was not in tandem with the vision of the founding fathers.<\/p>\n

The letter was addressed to the APC National Working Committee, NWC-led by the acting National Chairman, Abubakar Kyari.<\/p>\n

Lukman had warned APC against replacing the former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu with Ganduje.<\/p>\n

He said it would be suicidal to replace Adamu with Ganduje.<\/p>\n
