Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Socio-political activist Deji Adeyanju has advised the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, to retire from politics.<\/p>\n

Tweeting, Adeyanju wrote: \u201cAtiku is convinced he won the election but doesn\u2019t know how to prove it. Just stressing himself for nothing. He should retire from politics and support a younger person in 2027. Politics must not always be about self.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja had reserved judgement in the petition filed by Atiku against the victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n

The five-man panel, led by Justice Haruna Tsammani, reserved judgement for a date to be communicated to the parties.<\/p>\n
