Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Northern States Governors\u2019 Forum has applauded the emergence of their erstwhile colleague, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.<\/p>\n

A statement issued on Thursday by the Forum\u2019s Chairman and Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, said Ganduje\u2019s election not only underscored the trust and confidence fellow party stakeholders and members have in him, but reflects his exceptional leadership abilities.<\/p>\n

The statement also hailed the election of former Senate spokesman, Senator Ajibola Basiru, as the National Secretary of the party.<\/p>\n

He reminded Ganduje that his distinguished tenure as the governor of Kano State demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of the people and the development of the APC, and the nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs the newly elected national chairman, you hold a critical position in steering our great party towards a united and prosperous future.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour experience and strategic vision will be vital in addressing the challenges ahead and harnessing the collective strength of the APC to bring about positive change for all Nigerians.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are confident that under your able guidance, the party will chart a course of progress, inclusivity, and good governance that will resonate with citizens across the country in line with President Tinubu\u2019s \u2018Renewed Hope\u2019 mantra,\u201d the statement noted.<\/p>\n

He praised the leadership direction and guidance of President Tinubu, which he said facilitated the smooth conduct of the caucus and NEC meetings that produced the new helmsmen of the APC.<\/p>\n
