Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A suspected kidnapper has been set ablaze in Niger State.<\/p>\n

He was accused of abducting two children in Lapai Local Government Area of Niger State.<\/p>\n

The suspect, whose identity is not yet known, was taking the children to an unknown destination when he was accosted by some residents.<\/p>\n

The residents descended on him and beat him to a coma as he could not give any credible answer.<\/p>\n

The mob later poured petrol on the lifeless body before setting him ablaze.<\/p>\n

A video showed some children participating in the jungle justice.<\/p>\n

Abiodun Wasiu, the spokesperson of the State police command, when contacted, confirmed the incident.<\/p>\n

He said, \u201cwhen the police arrived at the scene, the mob had dispersed but they were able to evacuate the burnt body to the hospital; the police will arrest the culprits.\u201d<\/p>\n
