Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr. Solomon Arase CFR, has called on Nigerians to have faith in the greatness of the country, insisting that all hope is not lost.<\/p>\n

In a statement by Ikechukwu Ani<\/p>\n

Head, Press and Public Relations, Arase stated this as part of his message ahead of Nigeria\u2019s 63rd independence anniversary.<\/p>\n

According to him, Nigerians should spare a minute to salute and celebrate the freedom the heroes fought for and cherish diversity.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is obvious that no nation is perfect; we have had our fair share of hate and violence but this is the moment to build our new future full of love and understanding.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe must decide now to join hands with the present government to move our nation forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

Arase prayed that \u201cthis day should be special for Nigerians and their loved ones and that it should present to them the sacred opportunity to celebrate the glory of freedom\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cBe assured that the labour of our heroes past shall never be in vain. Nigeria must rise again,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
