Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli has said Napoli are still a strong opponent despite the absence of their talismanic striker, Victor Osimhen.<\/p>\n

AC Milan will be up against the Serie A champions at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n

Osimhen is currently sidelined with a thigh injury he sustained on international duty.<\/p>\n

Pioli however insisted that Rudi Garcia\u2019s side remain a tough nut to crack despite the striker\u2019s unavailability.<\/p>\n

\u201cGarcia is an excellent coach and he\u2019s on the right path. He will be without Victor Osimhen but it happened last season too and they still got great results.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey haven\u2019t changed much defensively, they use a 4-4-2 formation. They still want to keep possession so it\u2019s hard to see big differences. Perhaps Giacomo Raspadori can connect attack and midfield more than Giovanni Simeone who I know really well. He is a good striker who attacks the space well,\u201d Pioli said.<\/p>\n

Osimhen has netted six times in eight outings across all competitions for the Partenopei.<\/p>\n
