Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, has extended his condolences to the government and people of Kogi State over the demise of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Ado Ibrahim, who died on Sunday at the age of 94.<\/p>\n

In a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ismail Mudashir, Barau described the late royal father who reigned for 26 years as an outstanding promoter of peace and unity in the country.<\/p>\n

Barau prayed to Allah SWT to grant the deceased, who was the Vice Chairman of the Kogi State Traditional Rulers Council, Aljannah Firdaus.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is no doubt that the Ohinoyi was a man of integrity who spoke his mind and was always ready to defend the truth. He was a patriotic and detribalized Nigerian who worked for the peace and development of the nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cMay Allah SWT grant him Aljannah Firdaus, the highest abode in paradise and provide his family with the strength and solace to bear this profound loss,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n
