Africa-Press – Rwanda. Right-back Dieudonné Ndayishimiye, known as Nzotanga, has joined Police FC on a two-year contract running until July 2027.
Ndayishimiye reunites with Ben Moussa who coached him at APR FC during the 2022/23 season and the move brings his five-year spell at the army side to an end.
The 26-year-old was wanted by Rayon Sports but opted fight for a place with Samuel Nsengiyumva who signed from Gorilla FC.
He becomes Police FC’s fifth signing this transfer window after Nsengiyumva, Moria Iradukunda, Leonard Gakwaya, Alain Bacca Kwitonda and Abdoul Niyigena, who was promoted from Interforce FC.
Harerimana joined Rayon Sports from Gasogi United
Abdulaziz Harerimana, known as Rivaldo, has left Gasogi United to sign for Rayon Sports on a two-year deal.
Harerimana had his first training session with the rest of the squad on Friday, July 11, in Nzove.
He is the seventh player to join the Blues, after Prince Musore, Chris Rushema, Gloire Tambwe, Mohamed Chelly, goalkeeper Drissa Kouyaté and striker Chadrak Bingi Bello.
Rayon Sports are also chasing former Emery Bayisenge as they look to strengthen their defense.
Bayisenge became a free agent after his contract with Gasogi United expired last season.
Meanwhile, APR FC unveiled Ugandan Ronald Ssekiganda as who signed two-year contract from Villa.
Ssekiganda, 21, was named in the 2024/25 Uganda Premier League team of the season. APR signed him in January to ward off interests from other teams which were interested in his services.
